We take the path leading to the open fields and the site where the "reburial" urn was found. We ran into a very kind gentleman who was processing bamboo shoots into chippings used to grow more shoots. He spontaneously offered (and this sort of thing is common in Japan!) to show us how he uprooted the shoots, which are an edible delicacy.

Chisato later quickly prepared some to try back home. They were delicious.
